A Global Learning Session on World Habitat Award-Winning Community Land Trusts

Community land trusts (CLTs) are an effective and flexible solution for improving housing and land stewardship worldwide. Whether you’re new to CLTs or looking for ways to make them work in your context, this global learning session will highlight key lessons from World Habitat Award-winning CLTs. Together, we’ll explore how CLTs can be adapted and scaled up, as well as the positive social and environmental impacts they can have.

There will also be an opportunity to put your questions to the panel of leaders from globally recognized CLTs in a short Q&A.

This event has been organized on the occasion of World CLT Day 2025 (16 May) by the International Center for Community Land Trusts in partnership with World Habitat and Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
